Job description
Industrial warehouse is looking for forklift operator. Job duties will take place inside and outside of warehouse.
Duties:
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading / loading trucks and checking in / out product.
- Building pallets for outbound shipments
- Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, and other equipment.
- Capable of operating different types of forklifts.
- Receive and process orders; review orders for completeness and clarity.
- Read pull sheets or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
- Read orders to ascertain part numbers, sizes and quantities of material.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins (indoor & outdoor).
- Count physical inventory.
- Maintains safe and clean work area by keeping shelves and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Pull items from inventory to ship to end users.
- Assist operations at other warehouse locations as needed.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Good communication, organizational, time management, mathematical skills.
- Dependable and Reliable
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical and background check
- Must be able to work 7:30am - 4:30pm, overtime as required
Job Type: Full-time
