Duties
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, accounts payable automation, and vendor payments using systems like Workday, Paychex, or Sage.
- Oversee accounts receivable management, ensuring timely collection and accurate recording of customer payments.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations, including bank statements and sub-ledgers, utilizing Excel data analysis techniques such as VLOOKUP functions and formulas.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), maintaining thorough documentation for audits.
- Support payroll management activities through systems like ADP or UltiPro, ensuring accurate employee compensation and benefits administration.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and double-entry bookkeeping to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while handling financial data entry and reporting tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HRIS (Human Resources Information System) specialists and governmental agencies for regulatory compliance.
Experience
- Proven accounting experience with a strong background in corporate or OR MANUFACTURING background
- Extensive knowledge of financial software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Kronos, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting concepts including general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with payroll systems like ADP or UltiPro and benefits administration proce
- Experience working with accounting systems that support accounts payable automation and invoice processing workflows.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting standards or non-profit accounting is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $90,186.22 - $108,611.36 per year
