MedOp Solutions is partnering with a high-performing community hospital to hire an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a contract assignment beginning within two weeks. This opportunity is ideal for a Certified Lab Technologist (CLT) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with strong cardiac catheterization experience who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment.
The Cath Lab performs a high volume of outpatient and inpatient cardiac procedures and is supported by skilled interventional physicians using technology comparable to larger academic medical centers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced cardiovascular team while providing exceptional patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

- Approximately 20% increase in outpatient procedural volume
- Fast-paced workflow with experienced physicians
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare and position patients for procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
- Assist with vascular access and procedural setup
- Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately during procedures
- Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with department protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and procedural staff to ensure efficient patient care
- Accurately document procedural information and patient care activities
- Participate in required on-call coverage
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Certified Lab Technologist (CLT) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with Cath Lab experience
- Active ARRT certification required (if applicable)
- IEMA Certification required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional procedures
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- 7–8 on-call days per month
- Every third weekend on-call rotation
- Two-hour minimum call-back guarantee
- On-call compensation provided
- Weekend call coverage as scheduled
- Four 10-hour day shifts per week
- Weekend coverage as needed
- Holiday coverage as needed
- No floating requirements
- 16 hours of orientation
- Orientation is non-billable
- Unit-specific workflow and equipment training provided
- Start Date: Within 2 Weeks
- Credentials Due: Thursday prior to start date
