Job Overview:
We are hiring experienced Receiving Associates / Forklift Operators for a new climate-controlled distribution center in Oakwood, GA. This is a start-up operation, so candidates must be flexible and ready to work extended hours during the initial launch phase.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments
- Operate equipment: sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, cherry picker, and reach truck
- Use RF scanners for inventory tracking and receiving
- Move and stage product throughout the warehouse
- Assist with general warehouse duties (not on equipment full shift)
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Experience operating:
- Sit-down forklift
- Stand-up forklift
- Cherry picker
- Reach truck
- RF scan experience required
- Ability to work on and off equipment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Schedule:
- Must be able to work up to 12-hour shifts
- Must be available to work 7 days per week during start-up
- Schedule 3pm to finish
