As a Residential Services Unit Manager with the Department of Human Services, you will guide dedicated staff who provide daily support to individuals at the Selinsgrove Center. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The Residential Services Unit Manager oversees the planning and coordination of habilitative services for individuals in assigned residential areas at the Selinsgrove Center. This role requires strong leadership, organized planning, and clear communication to support staff and maintain a safe and effective community environment. As a Residential Services Unit Manager, you will perform the following duties:

Program Planning: Organize work activities, assess needs, and monitor results to ensure effective delivery of services

Staff Supervision: Guide supervisory and direct care staff through coaching, evaluation, and oversight of daily responsibilities

Safety Oversight: Identify and investigate incidents to maintain a safe and healthful environment for individuals and staff

Support Plan Direction: Lead the development and monitoring of Individual Support Plans and ensure goals and strategies are followed

Record Maintenance: Review records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with facility standards

Environmental Management: Coordinate inspections, repairs, and personal item needs to maintain a comfortable and safe living environment

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week

Work hours are available on the following shifts: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (1st shift); 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (2nd shift); 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (3rd shift).

Weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts as needed

30-minute lunch (all shifts)

Overtime and travel as operationally necessary

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
