Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing essential therapy services to individuals across various settings, including outpatient clinics and home health. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with developmental challenges such as autism, and involves collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals to create effective care plans.
Duties
- Assess clients' needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning.
- Provide support and guidance in areas such as daily living skills, social skills, and sensory integration.
- Collaborate with speech therapists and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Work closely with families to educate them on strategies for supporting their child's development at home.
- Participate in early intervention programs for children with developmental delays.
- Conduct discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for clients leaving therapy services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred, especially those with autism or related developmental disorders.
- Knowledge of speech therapy practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Experience in outpatient settings or home health care is advantageous.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
