G Technology is a full service Electrical Contracting company serving Commercial and Industrial clients.
We are currently looking for a part-time videographer/photographer to to join our marketing team. Position involves visiting job sites and capturing high-quality professional footage and images of our team working throughout various stages of our projects.
Position will initially be a few hours per week during normal construction hours and may transition to full-time in the future.
Base Wage: $17 – $22/hr.
Skills & Qualifications
- Travel regularly to construction sites to capture photo and video content throughout project lifecycles from build stages to completion.
- Edit photos and videos for high-quality branding and marketing across social media platforms.
- Edit video clips for marketing and social media platforms and provide to G Tech team for posting purposes.
- Manage and post content on various company social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
- Maintain an organized library of photo and video assets for internal and marketing use.
- Attend and capture photo and video content at company events, community activities, and special projects as needed.
- Originating and writing creative content for video shoots.
- Concepting, storyboarding, preparing projects for filming.
- Collaboration with marketing team for project concept and design approvals.
- Manage production timelines and deliver finished videos according to deadlines.
- Planning and scheduling video shoots, locations, shots, content, equipment, lighting, talent, etc.
- Coordination with customers, job site locations, local municipalities if required.
- Acknowledge site limitations and present alternate solutions.
- Editing raw footage, acquiring and documenting music rights, adding graphics and animations to videos.
- Posting videos via LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, etc. to maintain a virtual presence.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in both manual and automatic camera settings; able to adjust exposure, focus, and lighting for varying environments and conditions.
- Experience with drones a plus.
- Must be creative, artistic, and design according to company brand and culture.
- Must have experience with video, sound, recording equipment.
- Must have experience with editing software, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Must be willing to learn company culture and overall marketing strategies.
- Must be flexible to visit job sites for footage and balance time between filming and editing.
- Must be highly detail oriented, organized, motivated.
- Must be professional and courteous at all times.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background/drug test.
- Must have access to a personal vehicle for travel to job sites.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite a plus: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro.
Position is part-time for a few hours per week to visit various job sites and capture professional, high-quality video and photographs that properly represent company professionalism and branding standards. Job site availability is typically between the hours of 7am and 3:30pm. Video and Photograph editing, social media posting, and content management can be done after hours, provided deadlines and expectations are met.
Candidate must have reliable transportation to be considered for this position.

Registered apprenticeship programs are the first step in creating a foundation for a successful career path. In addition to classroom learning and hands on training, students will also gain on-the-job training by working alongside qualified electricians. This comprehensive four year training module allows apprentices to successfully complete the State required 240 hours of classroom training, as well as 8,000 hours of on-the-job training in order to receive their Journeyman Certificate.
