Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast items with efficiency and attention to quality, including hot dishes, cold foods, beverages, and specialty items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, adhering strictly to food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their experience.
- Restock buffet stations, replenish supplies, and ensure all food displays are appealing and well-maintained throughout service.
- Follow proper manual handling techniques when setting up tables, clearing dishes, or handling heavy trays or equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety management protocols, including temperature checks and sanitation standards.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for guest transactions while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices is essential.
- Experience with wine knowledge or beverage service is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving and catering functions.
- Experience working with POS systems for order processing and payments.
- Knowledge of dietary accommodations and food industry standards is advantageous.
- Previous banquet or culinary experience will be considered an asset.
