Smyth Electrical Services is seeking a reliable and organized Backroom Associate to support daily operations by managing supplies, materials, inventory, and storage areas. This position plays an important role in keeping company resources organized and ensuring technicians and teams have the equipment and materials they need to complete their work efficiently.
Job Overview
As a Backroom Associate at Smyth Electrical Services, you will assist with receiving, organizing, tracking, and preparing materials and equipment. You will help maintain an efficient storage area, support inventory processes, and ensure items are properly handled and available when needed.
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and store incoming materials, tools, and supplies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized backroom and storage area
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization
- Prepare materials and equipment for daily operations and service teams
- Label, sort, and arrange items for easy access
- Track inventory levels and report shortages or damaged items
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when needed
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement
- Support general operational and warehouse tasks
- Follow company safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift, move, and organize materials as needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
