Position Summary
Lotus Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and compassionate Vaccine Clinic Nurse to support our community vaccine clinics. This position will be responsible for safely administering vaccines, providing a positive patient experience, and helping clinics run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely administer vaccines according to established protocols.
- Screen patients and review vaccination information before administration.
- Monitor patients after vaccination and respond appropriately to any reactions.
- Accurately document vaccinations and complete required paperwork.
- Follow vaccine storage, handling, infection control, and safety procedures.
- Provide a positive, professional, and compassionate patient experience.
- Work with the pharmacy team to keep vaccine clinics organized and running efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized vaccination area.
- Follow HIPAA, regulatory requirements, and Lotus Pharmacy policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current, active Minnesota RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Previous vaccination, clinical, or patient-care experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a busy clinic environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods during vaccine clinics.
- Ability to perform repetitive vaccination-related tasks.
- Ability to bend, reach, and move supplies as needed.
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
