What You Will Do: In this role, you will handle the physical rooftop setup and cabling, then team up with our remote Engineering department to get the client connected and online.
- Install & Setup: Safely install and uninstall equipment on client rooftops.
- Cabling: Run, install, and terminate shielded CAT5/CAT6 and RJ11 cables.
- Tech Deployment: Mount and physically install Access Points, Phones, Cameras, Routers, and Switches.
- Troubleshooting: Conduct routine field maintenance and basic physical troubleshooting with remote support and direction from our Engineering department.
- Safety First: Strictly adhere to safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself, your team, and our customers.
What You Need to Succeed (Requirements)Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience with a Microwave Internet Service Provider preferred.
- Previous experience with Cox, DirecTV, or satellite installations preferred.
- Familiarity with cable testing equipment such as Fluke or Ideal testers.
Technical Skills
- Comfortable using a field laptop to connect to equipment and adjust basic IP settings.
- Manual dexterity with proficient use of hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Licensing & Background Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Confident working at various heights, including carrying a 32-foot extension ladder and safely navigating single- and multi-story residential and commercial rooftops.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Visual acuity to distinguish colors and fine details for installation and troubleshooting activities.
Schedule & Travel Requirements
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends.
- Availability for occasional evening overtime as needed.
- Willingness to travel out of town periodically as required.

Shift and Schedule:
- 40 hours/week. Scheduled days will vary (Monday–Sunday).
Pay:
- $18.00 - $20.00 an hour to start
