We take a lot of pride in what we put out and how we work as a team. Our kitchen is busy, organized, and collaborative, and we're looking for someone who enjoys staying productive, takes pride in doing things the right way, and is always willing to jump in wherever they're needed.
Position Overview
We're hiring a part-time Kitchen Team Member to join our team.
The starting schedule will primarily be:
- Friday: 12:00 PM – Close
- Saturday: 12:00 PM – Close
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – Close
Our café closes at 4:00 PM, but the team stays afterward to clean and close the kitchen, so availability through approximately 5:00 PM is required.
Over time, additional shifts and more hours may become available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting wherever the kitchen needs you most—line, prep, or dish
- Preparing ingredients, restocking stations, and helping keep service running smoothly
- Washing dishes throughout the shift and ensuring they never pile up
- Keeping all kitchen stations clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
- Responsible for closing down the kitchen each shift, including thoroughly cleaning all stations, equipment, floors, and dish areas
- Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned, organized, stocked, and fully closed before leaving
- Following all food safety and sanitation standards
- Moving with urgency during busy rushes while maintaining quality
- Working closely with the team to keep the kitchen running efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Previous kitchen experience preferred (line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, or similar)
- Someone who works with urgency and stays productive
- Takes pride in keeping a clean and organized kitchen
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail—you notice the little things
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through approximately 5:00 PM
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
Compensation & Perks
- $21–$23/hour total compensation ($17/hour + tips), depending on experience
