Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Crew Member to join our dynamic team committed to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments.
In this role, you will assist with a wide range of landscaping tasks, including lawn care, landscape maintenance, and hardscape projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a passion for outdoor work.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, construction, and landscape management while contributing to the enhancement of our clients’ properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure healthy and attractive lawns
- Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree care, and shrubbery management
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for various landscaping projects
- Support hardscape installations including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other masonry features
- Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access and property safety
- Support general garden and horticultural activities by planting new greenery and caring for existing landscapes
- Assist with equipment maintenance to ensure tools and machinery operate efficiently and safely
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping, gardening, or construction environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, excavators, and other landscaping equipment
- Basic understanding of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Valid driver’s license is preferred; ability to operate machinery such as excavators is a plus
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and tree care practices is advantageous
