Build Projects You'll Be Proud of.
At Clemleddy Construction, we don't just build houses—we build custom homes, beautiful remodels, and lasting relationships with our clients.
We're looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys solving problems, and wants to work alongside a team that values quality over quantity.
If you're the kind of carpenter who notices the details others miss, believes "good enough" isn't good enough, and enjoys seeing a project come together from start to finish, we'd love to talk with you.
About the Role
This is a working Lead Carpenter position—not a desk job.
You'll spend your days actively building alongside your crew while leading by example, mentoring less experienced carpenters, and helping deliver exceptional projects that reflect the Clemleddy Construction name.
You'll work closely with our Field Supervisor while taking ownership of your jobsite and maintaining the high level of craftsmanship our clients expect.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise construction crews on-site, ensuring tasks such as metal building erection, concrete forming, framing, and roofing are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to guide project execution.
- Oversee rebar installation, masonry work, drywall finishing, siding, stucco, and other exterior/interior finishes.
- Manage daily site operations including heavy equipment operation, material handling, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule trades, order materials, and monitor project progress.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards.
- Train and mentor team members in the use of hand tools, power tools, and technical skills such as dimensional measurements and carpentry techniques.
