We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at our Savoy/ Champaign office location. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. As a vital member of our clinical team, you will deliver evidence-based therapies, conduct comprehensive assessments, and support clients through their mental health journeys. This position emphasizes a collaborative approach, utilizing innovative treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, and more.
What you’ll do
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately determine client needs
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing modalities like psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client goals and clinical best practices
- Independently manage caseload of 27-30 clients with Practice support to build caseload OR build & maintain caseload you may bring into practice
- Utilize in-person & telehealth platforms to expand access to care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and secure medical documentation practices
- Collaborate with team of professional providers including social workers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive care
- Document all client work in medical records using appropriate ICD coding and CPT coding for billing purposes
Experience
- Valid licensure as a mental health professional (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LPC, LSW, or equivalent) with proven experience in clinical counseling and psychotherapy settings
- Demonstrated expertise working with children, supports & couples
- Experience in crisis assessment, crisis interventions and support
- Familiarity with inpatient/outpatient settings and hospital experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency in behavioral therapies and evidenced based practices
- Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 diagnostic coding systems along with CPT coding for billing procedures
- Strong background in medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA regulations related to patient care
- Competency in in-person & telehealth service delivery combined with excellent patient assessment skills for diverse populations including trauma and PTSD care

These in-person positions are designed to meet the growing need for accessible evening mental health services within our communities.
Position Summary
Therapists provide outpatient psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families while independently managing their caseloads from intake through discharge.
Successful clinicians are highly organized, proactive, clinically confident, and comfortable managing documentation, scheduling, and practice expectations with minimal supervision.
Minimum expectation is maintaining approximately 27 completed client sessions weekly to retain full-time benefits.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing DSM-5-TR and ICD-10 criteria.
- Complete intake documentation, diagnoses, and treatment plans within 7 days of the initial appointment.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy utilizing approaches including CBT, DBT-informed interventions, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Play Therapy (Play Therapist position), or Couples Therapy modalities (Couples position).
- Maintain treatment plans, progress notes, and required clinical documentation according to practice standards & policies.
- Include medical necessity language within all required documentation.
- Independently manage client scheduling, cancellations, reschedules, and ongoing treatment planning.
- Maintain client appointments and session schedule at least three months in advance whenever clinically appropriate.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
- Deliver telehealth services when clinically appropriate; however, services are expected to occur primarily in-office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Illinois LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW or license-eligible clinician working toward full independent licensure.
- Provisionally licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply.
