Job Title: Quality Technician
Shift: 2nd shift ( 2:30 PM - 12:00 AM) Train on 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
Job Location: Sterling, IL 61081
Compensation: $ 22.42 per hour
Job Summary for : . The purpose of this role is to conduct a quality audit of every unit during and after the manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Approve or reject in-process and finished goods by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments and/or rework to production and quality leadership.
2. Red flag/tag all non-conforming products.
3. Green Tag all good quality/conforming units for shipment.
4. Perform measurements using metric or standard tape measures.
5. Ability to effectively read and interpret Job Traveler instructions.
6. Able to read simple blueprints.
7. Keep work area clean from all debris to ensure a safe, hazard free working environment.
8. Any other duties required.
Education/ Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of Experience in Quality Control position.
Some computer experience, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
High School diploma
Must pass background check and drug screen.
