Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in various databases and ERP systems. This role requires strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our data and supporting various administrative functions within the organization.
Duties
- Input and update data in databases and ERP systems with high accuracy
- Perform data entry tasks including order entry, transcription, and data collection
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management, including creating pivot tables
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of information
- Assist with clerical tasks such as document preparation and office organization
- Conduct regular audits of data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with team members to support administrative functions as needed
Requirements
- Proficient in computer skills with experience in data entry and typing
- Familiarity with databases and ERP systems is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling numerical data accurately
- Previous office or clerical experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues
