Sales Team Member - Part-Time

This job is for the Longmont, CO store at 1520 S. Hover St.
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am – 6pm
Saturdays 9am – 5pm
Sundays 11am – 5pm
- We are closed on Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day & New Year’s Day
NO NIGHT SHIFTS!
- May require some time before and after hours for planning, events and one team meeting per month.
Qualifications:
- Have a love of nature and particularly birds.
- Friendly, outgoing disposition
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends
- Commitment to provide quality products, service, expertise and a high energy shopping experience
- Be able to lift and carry bird seed up to 50 pounds repeatedly-carrying bird seed for our customers – a foundation of our service!
- Be VERY detail oriented and reliable.
- Retail experience and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain good housekeeping standards to help present a clean and well-presented store.
- Ability to multi-task and spend extended hours on your feet
- Basic computer skills
- Interest in backyard bird feeding but no experience with the hobby is necessary. WE WILL TRAIN YOU!

Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on retail experience, training performance, or nature knowledge/background
