The Materials Management Lead will be responsible to prepare finished products for order fulfillment, coordinate sterilization of finished products and maintain returned finished goods system. This position will also perform warehouse activities related to finished products. This position ensures that the solid execution of company programs remain consistent with the overall company values. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Supply Chain Economics and can support the strategic and operational objectives of the business. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality.

Receive and unload incoming materials and compares information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment.

Follow established policies and procedures for the inspection of incoming materials against order and specification for correctness and defects.

Sorts, counts, packages, labels, unpack, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.

Inspects shipments for damages or defects and records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.

Confer and correspond with carrier to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, and non conformance to specifications.

Deliver materials and supplies to requisitioning department. Run daily “Below Safety Stock” report for each applicable area and deliver supplies as needed.

Lead and train associates in receiving practices

Ship products to sterilization and create purchase orders according to standard operating procedures and ERP work instructions.

Requisition inventory items needed by utilizing ERP system planning as a guide

Receive nontangible purchase orders for requesting departments

Coordinate sterilization of finished products. Prepare documentation for sterilization of finished products.

Check finished products to be sterilized against documentation to verify that lot numbers and quantities are correct.

Prepare, organize and store finished goods in the warehouse.

Perform cycle counts of finished and non finished products.

Maintain returned goods system.

Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies.

Ensure accurate inventory counts and inventory balance information is maintained.

Adheres to daily production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery and service goals.

This position requires a minimum of an Associate Degree and 2 years’ experience in similar position or minimum 5 years of experience in similar position. Knowledge of cGMP and ISO 13485 is highly desirable.
