AFC Industries PA, Inc. a manufacturing company located in Berwick, PA is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. We manufacture a variety of ergonomic products for various industries including health care, government, and IT.

Shift:
- First- Monday- Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or
- Second-Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on various components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist in other production departments as needed to support manufacturing operations.
Required Skills & Traits:
- Proficient in TIG and MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, producing high-quality welds that meet engineering and quality standards.
- Experienced in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, welding symbols, technical diagrams, and work instructions to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, welding procedures, and quality control, with a commitment to precision, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to understand and apply technical documentation, specifications, manufacturing instructions, and production schedules to meet deadlines and production goals.
- Adaptable team player with the flexibility to support multiple departments, cross-train on new equipment and processes, and perform additional responsibilities as needed.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks for 8–10-hour shifts, while safely lifting and moving materials up to 35 pounds.
- Dependable, self-motivated professional with exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven commitment to producing quality workmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
