Our team is dedicated to excellence, precision, and collaboration, and we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Project Engineer / AutoCAD Drafter to join our Livermore team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in construction engineering, architectural drafting, and project coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update As-built drawings, Submittal packages, and Requests for Information (RFIs) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Read, interpret, and analyze architectural and structural plans with a high level of detail to ensure accuracy in project scope.
- Draft, modify, and finalize construction drawings using AutoCAD to support project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to maintain alignment with project schedules and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and General Contractors to coordinate project specifications and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in contract change orders and manage essential project documentation, including warranties and compliance requirements.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software, and Bluebeam Revu to streamline project workflows and document management.
- Conduct field visits as necessary to verify project conditions and ensure accuracy in drafted plans.
