We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and suggest specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking back regularly and addressing any concerns promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Uphold food safety and food handling protocols at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items and contribute positively to sales goals
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or guest relations is advantageous
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
