Director of Supply Chain Solutions (ONSITE)
Relay Resources – Portland, OR

Disabled people / people with disabilities and neurodivergent people are strongly encouraged to apply.
OVERVIEW OF THE DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS
Relay Resources is seeking a strategic, business-minded Director of Supply Chain Solutions to lead the operational and financial performance of its growing social enterprise. This newly created role will drive scalability, efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth while advancing Relay’s mission of creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
This is more than a traditional supply chain leadership role. The Director will take an enterprise-level view of operations, contracts, capacity, staffing, pricing, profitability, and customer opportunities, determining which work aligns with Relay’s capabilities and long-term strategy. The ideal leader will bring strong operational expertise with a commercial and financial mindset and a proven ability to optimize and scale complex operations.
The Director will oversee approximately 50 employees and four direct reports, partnering closely with Sales, Contracts, Finance, Disability Inclusion, IT, and Operations/Production. The role will strengthen processes and performance while positioning Supply Chain Solutions for larger, longer-term, and more sustainable federal and commercial opportunities.
A key priority is balancing business performance with social impact—building a financially sustainable operation while maintaining Relay’s commitment to inclusive employment. The Director will build upon the strong operational foundation established by the current Production Manager and team, bringing a more strategic, enterprise-level perspective to the function.
The Director will ultimately be accountable for the operational and financial performance of Supply Chain Solutions and for building the strategy, infrastructure, and partnerships needed to support sustainable growth.
