Transport Driver on the Oregon Coast
Commission Based: $2,600-$3,100 per month before taxes
Working Smart Phone is needed to complete you job daily with a good working knowledge of applications. Apps that are downloaded for daily use are no additional cost to driver, but required.
Duties:
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
- Operate various types of vehicles, including mini vans
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking
- Maintain contract required cleanliness and orderliness of company issued vehicle
- Perform routine daily pre/post trip inspections and maintenance checks on the company issued vehicle
Skills and Requirements:
- Valid Oregon driver's license of 7 years or more with a clean driving record for 10 years
-Ability to clear a State and Federal background check
-Ability to pass a Pre employment alcohol and drug screening
-Mandatory 2 day paid training for Oregon certifications required to transport (Fri-Sat)
-For insurance purposes only covers drivers 25-70 years old
- Experience in customer service driving
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and co-workers
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers
- Ability to handle light lifting, such as assisting passengers with mobility devices
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful situations with problem solving abilities
- Commercial driving experience is desirable but not required
