Spend your days poolside delivering exceptional hospitality in a beautiful resort setting! South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is seeking an energetic, guest-focused Cabana Server to provide outstanding food and beverage service while creating memorable experiences for our resort guests.
What You'll Do:
As a Cabana Server, you'll be the face of our poolside dining experience by providing friendly, attentive service in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Responsibilities include:
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional poolside hospitality
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer guest questions
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring quality and presentation
- Process guest payments accurately using our point-of-sale system
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly while following all state liquor laws
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting pool deck and service areas
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate
- Support teammates and assist with opening, closing, and side work as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Must be 18 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages
- Previous restaurant, resort, poolside, or hospitality experience preferred
- Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and lift up to 30 pounds
