Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of production equipment, facility, and other mechanical components. We are a growing manufacturing and packaging company. The ideal candidate is diverse in skillset, bi-lingual is a plus.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production lines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Install mechanical equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively.
- Troubleshoot basic control issues like photoeyes or limit switches.
- Assist with construction projects or upgrades involving mechanical systems to enhance facility.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing machinery, (liquid fillers, diaphram pumps, conveyors, tape machines, packaging machinery. etc
- Ability to read schematics accurately for diagnosing electrical or mechanical issues.
- Skilled with standard shop tools and machinery
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
