Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are looking to be part of something more than traditional service delivery. At EICS, RBTs play a key role in an integrated model combining behavioral support and mental health interventions, working alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and interdisciplinary team to support individuals with IDD in achieving meaningful outcomes.

All EICS behavior support programs are CARF-accredited (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities), reflecting our commitment to quality, person-centered care and measurable outcomes.
As an RBT at EICS, you will be part of an innovative, integrated care model that supports individuals across a continuum—from foundational skill-building to more intensive supports through our EMPOWER Program.
This role also provides opportunities to learn and contribute to program development and innovative practices through:
- Partnership with the University of Missouri–Kansas City LifeCourse Nexus Team
- Ongoing consultation and collaboration with Case Western Reserve University and the Begun Center for Violence Prevention
Through this work, RBTs gain experience beyond traditional service delivery and contribute to forward-thinking approaches that are shaping the future of integrated IDD and mental health services.
What You’ll Do
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will provide home and community-based services to transitional-age youth and adults with IDD. Services are delivered across a variety of settings, including homes, group homes, day programs, and community/work environments, supporting individuals in real-life settings where skills are applied.
You will:
- Implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) under the supervision of a BCBA
- Provide 1:1 direct services focused on skill development and behavioral support
- Collaborate with guardians, families, and residential providers to ensure consistency in care
- Collect and document behavioral and skill acquisition data using ABA-based systems
- Support caregiver and group home staff training on behavior strategies and client goals
- Assist in safety planning and report critical incidents in accordance with agency policy
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and case consultations
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with Medicaid and regulatory standards
- Meet productivity expectations (including direct and indirect service time)
- Maintain RBT certification and adhere to BACB ethical guidelines

Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses preferred
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass required background checks
