Tree Service Ground Crew Member

Eclipse Tree and Outdoor is hiring a dependable, hardworking crew member to join our growing operation.
This is not just a temporary labor position. We are looking for someone who wants consistent outdoor work, is willing to learn, and can develop into a key member of our second crew.
Most of our work involves professional tree removal and trimming, but our company also performs drainage, grading, fencing, carpentry, landscaping and other outdoor property work. Applicants must be willing to help wherever the schedule takes us.
Pay and advancement
- Starting pay: $20 per hour
- Performance-based increase to approximately $21–$23 per hour after 90 days
- Potential increase to $23–$26 per hour after 90 days
- Future Crew Lead opportunities starting around $27+ per hour
- Raises are based on reliability, work quality, awareness, attitude and the ability to take responsibility
Responsibilities
- Dragging, processing and loading brush
- Supporting climbers and equipment operators from the ground
- Learning rope handling and basic rigging awareness
- Loading, unloading and organizing tools and equipment
- Protecting lawns, buildings, vehicles and customer property
- Maintaining a clean and organized jobsite
- Assisting with tree work, drainage, grading, fencing and other outdoor projects
- Performing physically demanding work safely in changing weather conditions
- Staying engaged and finding the next task without constantly being directed

- Reliable transportation to the daily meeting location
- Tree service, landscaping, construction or farm experience is helpful but not required
- A valid driver’s license, trailer experience, equipment experience, chainsaw experience, climbing or rigging knowledge are strong advantages
We are willing to train the right person. Reliability, awareness and work ethic matter more than having a perfect résumé.
