Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Providers through walk-in interviews held every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. *All Shifts Available* This is an excellent opportunity for motivated candidates interested in making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities, including those with TBI's (traumatic brain injuries). All positions are paid; we require just a minimum of 6 months of caregiving experience and a desire to help others and a commitment to providing high-quality support.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support residents with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and health-related needs.
- Provide companionship and social engagement to promote emotional well-being.
- Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and mobility aids safely.
- Help with meal preparation, feeding, cleaning, and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Document resident progress and care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Support residents with behavioral management strategies, especially those with dementia or developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; training provided on-site during orientation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed.
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks necessary for caregiving duties.
- Basic understanding of health and safety protocols; First Aid certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home & community care, or group homes is advantageous but not required. Join us every Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for walk-in interviews! Pay: $16.00 - $19.48 per hour
