Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of repair, maintenance, and property upkeep tasks for our Bed & Breakfast/event venue/AirBnB. This position is responsible for maintaining our property in safe, functional, and attractive condition through routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in general home maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical work, painting, landscaping, and other repair-related tasks.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential properties.
- Complete basic plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains, and repairing toilets and faucets.
- Perform basic electrical repairs, such as replacing outlets, switches, light fixtures, and troubleshooting minor electrical issues.
- Prepare and complete interior and exterior painting projects.
- Repair or replace damaged materials around the home, including drywall, trim, doors, flooring, and other building components.
- Assist with bathroom and bedroom renovations or repairs as needed.
- Perform roof and gutter maintenance, including cleaning gutters and identifying minor roof issues.
- Conduct yard maintenance, including lawn mowing, weed whipping/trimming, landscaping, and seasonal cleanup.
- Apply and monitor basic pest control measures and report pest-related concerns.
- Inspect properties for maintenance needs and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies while performing work.
Qualifications
- Experience in property maintenance, handyman work, construction, or facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift, carry, and work in indoor and outdoor environments.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
