Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Pool and Repair Technician to join our team. This is a skilled position, and prior hands-on experience is required — we are looking for a seasoned technician, not an entry-level candidate. The ideal candidate brings true working knowledge of pool equipment, strong repair skills, and the ability to problem-solve independently in the field. In this role, you will service and repair both commercial and residential pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and running at peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform pool maintenance and service for both commercial communities and residential clients.
- Change out pool pumps and motors, and diagnose and repair mechanical equipment issues.
- Perform pool plumbing repairs and modifications as needed.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and related systems.
- Conduct water testing and adjust chemical levels to maintain safe, code-compliant swimming conditions.
- Ensure all work meets applicable Florida code requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with the office and clients about their pool needs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment used for each account.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Prior professional experience as a pool service and repair technician is required — this is not an entry-level role.
- Minimum 5-10 years of proven experience in the field.
- True working knowledge of pool equipment and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to change out pool pumps and motors.
- Experience with pool plumbing repair and installation.
- Basic knowledge of Florida code as it applies to pool systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and office staff.

New team members begin with a 90-day probationary period. During this time, you'll receive full pay while working under close supervision, giving both you and our team the chance to ensure a great fit.
