Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee the cleanliness, organization, and overall maintenance of our hospitality environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to deliver efficient janitorial services, including cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
- Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimize productivity and service quality
- Oversee laundry operations to ensure timely and proper handling of linens, towels, and uniforms
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns and coordinate repairs accordingly
- Implement cleaning protocols aligned with health regulations and hospitality standards to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and custodial equipment to prevent shortages or excess waste
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within the hospitality or commercial cleaning industry
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
- Extensive janitorial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- Experience in laundry operations and understanding of proper handling of linens and textiles
- Background in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership abilities coupled with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of health regulations related to cleanliness and sanitation standards
