Join our dedicated team as a Kennel Technician and become a vital part of providing exceptional animal care in a lively, pet-focused environment! In this role, you will ensure the well-being, cleanliness, and safety of all our animals in our care while supporting the daily operations of our pet care facility. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a comfortable, clean, and loving space for animals in our care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with dogs, cats, and other small animals and contribute to a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Positions available: FULL-TIME + PART-TIME
HOURS: 7AM - 4PM
Duties
- Provide attentive pet care by feeding, watering, and monitoring animals’ health and behavior throughout their stay
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Provide mental stimulation & exercise to 50-100 dogs in a day.
- Ensure customer belongings are neatly organized and all accounted for before pick up.
- Provide excellent and professional customer service to clients and maintain good relationships.
Qualifications/Requirements for position
- Previous kennel technician experience is REQUIRED.
- Ability to lift 50+ LBS
- Ability to work as a team player with a good attitude
- Excellent customer service skills to provide professional service to clients
- Experience in dog grooming is a plus, not required!
- Ability to take direction and ask questions when unsure.
- Able to multi-task, take 10-20k steps a day
- Attention to detail & organizational skills
- Reliable transportation (THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTANTION NEAR BY)
- Ability to communicate
- Able to work weekends and holidays when needed.
