Duties
- Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and assist with special requests to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring all details are correct for timely delivery
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities and increase guest satisfaction
- Manage table turnovers by bussing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly to maintain a smooth flow of service
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food preparation meets quality standards and dietary requirements are respected
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving, bussing, and cashiering duties
- Culinary experience or food handling knowledge is a plus for understanding menu items and food safety protocols
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
- Experience with food industry standards including sanitation, food safety, and proper food preparation techniques
