Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curricula, engaging in lesson planning, and providing individualized support to meet the diverse needs of students. The Preschool Teacher will work collaboratively with parents and staff to ensure a positive learning experience for all children.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Creative Curriculum education standards.
- Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Incorporate physical education activities to promote health and wellness among preschoolers.
- Utilize special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Participate in curriculum development that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
- Provide early intervention strategies for children who may require additional support.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning through play.
Qualifications
- Certified Teacher in P-3 Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting is essential.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment.
- Knowledge of childcare best practices and early childhood development principles.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of young learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students and parents.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education.
