Carolina’s Compassionate Counseling is a growing private practice dedicated to providing holistic, high-quality mental health care to a diverse and dynamic community. We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated LCSW, LMHC, or registered intern to join our team.
The ideal candidate brings clinical experience, strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, and a deep commitment to building a safe, client-centered space aligned with our mission of whole-person healing.
Candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct Client Care
- Conduct individual, group, family, and/or couples therapy sessions in-person or via telehealth.
- Assess clients' needs, strengths, and challenges to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Use evidence-based practices to provide therapy and interventions tailored to client goals.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
2. Case Management
- Collaborate with clients to identify additional resources and referrals to support their therapeutic journey.
- Coordinate care with other practitioners, external agencies, or specialists as needed.
- Support clients in navigating healthcare systems, community resources, and other support services.
3. Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical notes, assessments, and treatment plans in the practice’s designated platforms (e.g., Theranest, Notion).
- Submit required documentation (e.g., session notes, billing information) promptly to comply with practice standards.
- Ensure all records meet legal, ethical, and organizational compliance requirements.
4. Professional Development
- Stay current with advancements in mental health practices, therapy methods, and state regulations.
- Attend continuing education programs to maintain licensure and meet professional development goals.
5. Ethical Practice
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity in all client interactions and practice activities.
- Adhere to the social work code of ethics and all relevant federal, state, and organizational regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and valid licensure as a Registered Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW, or equivalent) in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills.
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families.
- Experience working in private practice or mental health clinic settings.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
