The Vice President, Revenue Cycle is responsible for the management of the Springfield Clinic’s accounts receivable to optimize reimbursement in a compliant fashion. Scope of responsibility includes Patient Accounting functions such as billing, collections, account follow-up, denials, cash management/application, revenue integrity and charge capture and prior authorizations; and Health Information Management functions such as coding, document management, release of information, coding auditing and education and EHR record integrity. Serves as a change agent in a constantly changing and growing multi-specialty practice and drives process and systems supporting the change and growth. Provides subject matter expertise related to the development of a compliant, comprehensive, professional revenue cycle division. Is accountable for protecting the Clinic’s accounts receivable asset by ensuring that contemporary processes and systems are utilized that promote strong cash collections, minimize bad debt and provide an excellent patient experience.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field is required. Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a progressively responsible healthcare revenue cycle and/or patient financial services role is required, of which five of those years are in an executive/vice-president position. Experience with billing and collections at a multi-specialty medical group preferred
Salary
Approximate starting base salary of $250K with bonus incentive opportunity. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
