URGENT: Adult Caregiver Needed – Johns Island, SC

From The Heart Home Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide quality in-home care for an adult client in Johns Island, SC.
This is a Monday through Friday position beginning August 10, 2026. We're looking for someone who is reliable, patient, and committed to helping clients remain safe and independent in their own home.
Schedule
Monday – Friday
Specific hours will be discussed during the interview.
Client Needs & Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Assist with mobility and safe movement throughout the home
- Medication reminders as needed
- Transportation to appointments and errands when necessary
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional caregiving experience preferred
- Dependable, compassionate, and reliable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently in a client's home
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle
- Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other ride-share services do not qualify
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required
- Must be a South Carolina resident
- Ability to pass a background check
