Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Assist with table setting, ensuring all utensils, napkins, and condiments are properly arranged
- Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes, resetting tables quickly to accommodate incoming guests
- Perform cleaning duties including sanitation of dining areas, kitchen surfaces, and restrooms to uphold health standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting for food supplies and equipment using safe lifting practices
- Support food service operations by serving dishes promptly and accurately according to guest orders
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation, food safety protocols, and proper handling techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting in a safe manner
- Experience with catering or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to maintain cleanliness and uphold hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment
