Overview
Zen IV Spa is growing our mobile nursing team in New York City! As a Mobile IV Nurse, you'll bring premium IV hydration, vitamin, and wellness infusions directly to clients across the city — from someone fighting off a cold, to a client optimizing their everyday wellness, to a bride pregaming before her wedding. This role is perfect for an RN who loves variety, enjoys working independently, and wants to deliver a high-touch, hospitality-driven experience alongside excellent clinical care. You'll travel to homes, offices, hotels, and events throughout New York, administering safe and effective infusions while making every client feel relaxed, cared for, and back to their best.
Responsibilities
- Travel to clients across New York City homes, offices, hotels, and private events to administer IV hydration, vitamin, and wellness infusions.
- Conduct pre-infusion assessments, including vital signs and health history review, to confirm infusions are safe and appropriate for each client and their goals (illness recovery, hangover relief, energy/wellness boosts, event prep, etc.).
- Insert and manage peripheral IV lines using proper venipuncture technique.
- Monitor clients throughout each infusion and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
- Document visits accurately using our EHR/scheduling platform.
- Educate clients on infusion ingredients, benefits, and any precautions specific to their treatment.
- Follow strict aseptic technique and infection control protocols on every visit.
- Source, purchase, and maintain your own mobile supplies (IV bags, catheters, tubing, sterile kits) at cost through approved suppliers, keeping your kit fully stocked and visit-ready.
- Coordinate with Zen IV Spa's on-call medical director for protocol questions, treatment adjustments, or urgent issues.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to New York State nursing practice guidelines for mobile care delivery.
- Deliver a warm, professional, spa-like experience that reflects the Zen IV Spa brand at every visit.
Requirements
- Valid New York State RN license required.
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience, OR 2 years of general nursing experience.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications preferred but not required.
- Must obtain and maintain individual malpractice insurance.
- Must purchase own infusion supplies at cost through approved suppliers.
- Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible schedule across NYC, including some evenings/weekends.
- Strong clinical judgment to assess client suitability for IV therapy in non-clinical settings.
- Outstanding bedside manner and customer-service instincts — this is a client-facing, experience-focused role.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the NYC service area.
- Experience in mobile health, concierge medicine, med spa, or wellness/aesthetics nursing is a strong plus.

Pay: $150.00 - $350.00 per hour
