As a Spa Receptionist (called a Guest Advisor at Spavia), you are the first and last impression for our guests. You will blend hospitality, sales, and coordination to make every visit seamless, welcoming, and memorable.
This role is ideal for someone who loves helping people, enjoys a fast-paced front desk environment, and wants to build a long-term career in spa, hospitality, or wellness while earning bonuses for delivering great results.
- Welcome every guest warmly, set a calm and professional tone, and guide them through their spa experience from check-in to check-out.
- Manage appointment scheduling using spa software, ensuring accurate bookings, efficient room use, and minimal wait times.
- Handle phone and in-person inquiries, answer questions about services, and help guests select the treatments that best fit their needs.
- Promote memberships, enhancements, and retail products in a consultative, guest-focused way that supports their wellness goals.
- Process payments accurately, maintain complete guest records, and keep the front desk area clean, organized, and inviting.
- You will confidently manage the front desk independently while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
- Guests consistently mention you by name in feedback for your friendliness, professionalism, and ability to make their visit feel special.
- You meet or exceed individual and team goals for membership enrollments, retail sales, and rebookings while maintaining high guest satisfaction.
- You build strong communication routines with massage therapists, estheticians, and spa leadership so the daily schedule runs smoothly.
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, medical office, hotel, restaurant, salon, or spa environments is preferred.
- Clear, friendly communication skills and the confidence to talk with guests, answer questions, and recommend services or memberships.
- Comfort using computers and scheduling software, with the ability to stay organized and multitask during busy shifts.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Competitive hourly pay starting at $14–$16 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses and incentives (Guest Advisors currently average about $200/month in bonuses).
