Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and support learners across diverse age groups and educational needs. Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs.
- Utilize learning technology and instructional design principles to enhance classroom engagement and understanding.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and ongoing observations; adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students with disabilities or developmental delays.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Provide targeted support for students with autism, deaf education needs, visual impairments, or other special requirements.
- Foster a nurturing environment that promotes literacy education, math mastery, physical education, music therapy, recreational therapy, and early childhood development activities.
- Mentor students in social skills, communication skills, and behavioral health to support their overall well-being.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, Montessori methods, early intervention, and other educational approaches.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, IEP documentation, lesson plans, and classroom management logs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in classroom settings or childcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of special education practices including behavioral management, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavioral health strategies.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and instructional design software.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and specialists.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities such as autism or visual impairments; knowledge of deaf education is a plus.
- Ability to develop engaging curricula for early childhood education, preschoolers, toddlers, or kindergarten students.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with patience and adaptability.
