Visions Adolescent Treatment Center, which offers a comprehensive clinically-based treatment option for adolescents and their families is seeking a skilled and qualified Registered Nurse who is interested in making a difference and making a positive impact on the lives of our clients. This is an excellent position for a nurse who has a strong medical background along with knowledge and skills important in behavioral health.

Provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, and healthcare/clinical team. Consistently provides safe, therapeutic care in a systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Conducts all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum, to include patient and family education.

Responsibilities and Duties

Receiving and transcribing orders from physicians
-
Constant communication with the clinical team regarding client needs and/or significant changes

Documentation using electronic medical records system
-
Continuous monitoring/assessment of clients' vital signs, mental status, reaction to medications, etc.

Medication monitoring including counting and observation of administration
-
Perform UA drug screenings
-
Take clients to doctor appointments as necessary

Attend required staff meetings

Other duties and tasks as assigned
