The job of General Maintenance is to provide maintenance and cleaning services as needed and/or assigned; assisting in a wide variety of maintenance activities; addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns; assisting skilled trades; and ensuring that tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at job site when needed along with a little house keeping.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays (start times may vary 6am to 7am)
Essential Functions of General Maintenance: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Clean and maintain interior and exterior of facility
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
- Move waste from facility to dumpsters
- Abide by all the safety-training guidelines and operate within SOP stated in the Peddler’s Son Safety Manual
- Complete daily logs
- Keep and maintain inventory of materials and supplies
Non-essential Job Functions
- Facility Sanitation will operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- All Employees support and uphold the HAZARD ANALYSIS CRITICAL CONTROL POINTS (HACCP)
