American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day-shift ICU travel position in Lufkin, TX, requiring critical care experience and a TX or compact RN license.
-
13-week contract in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an acute care hospital setting
-
Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
-
27-bed ICU with patient ratios of 2:1 or 3-4:1
-
On-call shifts are possible
-
Floating to the Step-Down unit may be required
-
EMR: Medhost experience applicable to this role
-
No 48-hour shift requirements

Active TX RN license or compact RN license with TX privileges required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Minimum 2+ years of recent critical care (ICU) experience required
-
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Navy scrubs are required for this position

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

A valid driver's license is required for consideration
