Description – Oversees daily clinic operations in our LGBTIA+ healthcare clinic. Ensures that the clinic runs smoothly and that all departments are supported. As an RN, also helps the floor by rooming patients and performing general nursing tasks.
General Duties and Responsibilities:

Review daily patient list/schedule the day before

Ensure all schedule conflicts with providers rectified

Sign off and review documents to become part of the patients’ permanent chart

Receiving all chart notes and moving to provider task box
-
Order most supplies/stay within budget
-
Oversee RN’s, MA Supervisor, Lab Manager, CRS, Administration
-
Assist department managers with disciplinary action plans and employee discussions
-
Perform 90 day and annual reviews for all direct reports
-
Support homeless outreach team
-
Teach MA certification class and CPR class
-
Receive resumes and review, schedule, and conduct interviews
-
Handles pharmacy reps/drug reps
-
Management of all positive STI results and treatments
-
Notify patients of critical results
-
Ensures patients get STI treatment ASAP
-
Receive patient emails inquiries regarding different medical services
-
Collaborates to the lab to ensure reported the state properly
-
Handle specimens properly and ensure they get to the lab properly
-
Handles all fax that come in for providers
-
Room patients
-
Take patient vitals
-
Perform phlebotomy, wound dressing, injections
-
Review labs for patients
-
Complete clearance letters for top/bottom surgery

Complete letters for patients to return to work

Support providers with any assigned duties, i.e., prescription refills etc.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Pennsylvania Registered Nursing License or eligible for reciprocity

BA preferred or minimum 2 years’ experience as a clinic manager

CPR certification
