Job Description
Roof Maxx is looking for friendly, reliable people to represent our company inside a major big-box retail store and help homeowners learn about our roof restoration service.
This is a great part-time opportunity for retirees, semi-retired professionals, former salespeople, teachers, contractors, customer service workers, or anyone who enjoys talking with people in a low-pressure environment.
You will not be climbing roofs, doing inspections, or making sales presentations. Your main job is simple: greet customers, start conversations, explain the basic benefits of Roof Maxx, and help schedule free roof inspections for interested homeowners.
What You’ll Do
As a Lead Setter / Brand Ambassador, you will:
- Stand near our display inside a big-box retail store
- Greet homeowners in a friendly, professional way
- Ask simple qualifying questions about their roof
- Explain how Roof Maxx may help extend the life of an asphalt roof
- Collect customer information from interested homeowners
- Schedule free roof inspection appointments
- Represent the company with a positive, trustworthy attitude
What We’re Looking For
The ideal person is:
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable starting conversations
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional in appearance and communication
- Comfortable standing during a store shift
- Able to use a phone or tablet to enter basic lead information
- Good with people and comfortable speaking with homeowners
- Interested in part-time, flexible work
Sales experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right person.

Compensation
Pay includes:
- Hourly base pay: $22 per hour
- Bonuses for qualified appointments set
- Additional incentives for appointments that turn into completed jobs
Top performers can earn significantly more through appointment bonuses.
Schedule
We are hiring for part-time shifts, including:
- Weekdays
- Weekends
- Morning, afternoon, and early evening availability
Typical shifts are 5 to 6 hours.
