Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Aide to support the educational and developmental needs of students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong classroom management skills. This role is essential in creating a positive learning environment and assisting teachers in delivering effective instruction.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in managing classroom activities and maintaining an organized learning environment.
- Support students providing individualized attention and care as required.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive student behavior.
- Facilitate small group or one-on-one tutoring sessions to reinforce learning objectives.
- Help supervise students during non-classroom activities.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, camps, or tutoring is preferred.
- Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with first aid practices is a plus
- Ability to build rapport with students, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Skills in sports coaching, theater, or other extracurricular activities are beneficial for engaging students outside of academic subjects.
