About the Role
We are seeking a Pool Repair Technician to join our growing service team. CUA Pools serves primarily commercial properties—apartment communities, HOAs, and multifamily sites—across DFW. This is a mid-level position for someone with hands-on pool repair experience who is ready to take on more technical, hands-on troubleshooting work across our commercial accounts. You will diagnose and repair pumps, motors, filters (including sand changes and filter media replacement), heaters, automated chemical feeders, plumbing, and other pool equipment, working independently in the field while collaborating closely with our route supervisors and service team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair pool pumps, motors, filters, heaters, and automated chemical feeders
- Perform sand filter changes, filter media replacement, and pump rebuilds/repairs
- Perform pool plumbing repairs, including leak detection and pipe replacement
- Inspect and service pool, spa, and fountain equipment to identify issues before they escalate
- Document repairs, parts used, and service outcomes using our proprietary mobile app
- Communicate clearly with property managers and customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Maintain a stocked, organized service vehicle and follow proper safety and PPE protocols when handling pool chemicals
- Collaborate with route supervisors to prioritize and schedule repair work efficiently
Prerequisites
Must be efficient, organized, personable, poised, and well-groomed.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in pool, spa, and fountain repair and maintenance
- Working knowledge of pump and equipment repair, pool plumbing, and related systems
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in pool equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
