Automotive Technician
Milex Mr. Transmission auto repair shop location in Bradenton is looking for a motivated, driven, and talented individual to join our team. Our facility is clean, organized, and updated with some of the newest equipment. We are a locally owned and operated family-oriented business. We offer 1 week paid vacation after 1 year and 2 week vacation after 2 years plus Christmas through New Year paid time off. After your 90 day probation you will have 6 paid holidays and your birthday off. We only work Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with a lunch 12pm - 1pm. Never work any weekends. After 1 year offer 401K with 3% match. Our pay is hourly with extra cash bonus if book over 40 hours. Employees get discounts on parts and able to work on personal vehicles during off time.
Position Summary: In this role you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing repairs. Completing repairs within time allotted for repair. Keeping work area clean and organized. Keeping up on new technology and attending any training given by company.
Responsibilities
- Proper Diagnoses of vehicles
- Removal, installation, and servicing of components
- Provide accurate parts and materials list for repairs
- Inspect and test vehicles for necessary repairs
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE A MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIANCE IN AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR FACILITY
- Be able to work Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
- Must have valid driver license and clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical diagnostics
- Experience in domestic and import vehicles (both early and late model)
- Excellent follow-up & organizational skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Capable of assuming responsibility
- Ability to multi-task
